CDC: Flu Vaccine Could Be Available By Fall
"Federal health officials said Wednesday that a vaccine against the H1N1 virus, also known as the swine flu, could be ready for human use by early fall. The announcement was made at a joint press conference held by the Department of Health and Human Services, the Centers for Disease Control, and the Food and Drug Administration. Officials said that they are in the process of distributing samples of the virus to vaccine makers, which will then use them to produce pilot batches of the vaccine. The vaccine will then be tested under the auspices of the FDA to make sure its is safe and effective in humans."
But then, we don't want them to hurry do we? Anyone remember the Swine Flu outbreak in 1976? The rush to develope a vaccine ended up paralyzing about 500 who got the shots. But there is a difference between a Vaccine and Anti-Viral drugs like Tamiflu.
A Vaccine you would take prior to getting the flu, whether it's H1N1, (Swine Flu) or H5N1 (Bird Flu). The Anti-Viral drug Tamiflu is one you take as soon as you notice symptoms, within 24hrs perferably, and you take for 5 days. Tamiflu will greatly lessen the severity of the Swine Flu if you contract it. But you have to have it handy if you're going to respond quickly. You will not be able to order it and wait 2 or 3 or 4 days for it to come in, that will be too late.
You Need To Order Tamiflu Now
There are two reasons.
1. It's still in stock and available. If the Swine Flu continues to spread, supplies my be in jeopardy. Right now, nationwide, we know that there are enough Tamiflu dosages to treat about 15% of the total population. That's about 48 million. Sounds like a lot but not when you figure that's only 15%. That means 85% are not currently covered!
2. As mentioned above, you need to have it on hand. You should start taking Tamiflu as soon as the symptoms appear. Those symptoms include: Sore Throat, Fever, Cough, Chills, Body Aches, Headache, and/or Fatigue. We recommend you buy it now, one Adult supply is 10 capsules, 75mg taken twice a day for 5 days. You can get them now from 4Rx.com.

How to compare Online Pharmacies
We've set up several ways for you to compare pharmacies. You can
1. Scroll down the column on the left and look for the drug name under the Popular Meds listing. These are the most popular meds. 2. Click the Full Products List dropdown near the top of the right column and scroll down the full list of meds. When you find what you're looking for, just click the drug name. 3. Use the Search bar near the top right by typing in the drug name and clicking Search. 4. Or you can go to our medication list page and find your medication there.
When you go to one of our prescription drug pages, you'll see price tables on the page. Each table is set up the same way. At the top of the table you'll notice on the left the words, "Click or hover pharmacy names for more information". When you hover the pharmacy name as in the illustration below, there is a small tag that appears to tell you brief information about that particular pharmacy.
If you click the pharmacy name, you will get a pop up, (unless you have popup's blocked), that will give you even more information about the pharmacy such as contact info, reliablity, shipping costs and time, whether they offer live chat and order tracking and other comments.
Going from left to right, the word pharmacy name followed by the quantity, price and the shipping cost. The last column is the order link which will take you to the pharmacy listed on the left side of that row. If you click the link to order, where you see "Click here", that link will take you to that pharmacy's website where you can place an order or just check it out to see more about it.
All the order links will open new browser windows so you don't have to worry about using the back button. When you are done looking or ordering, close that browser and opd247.com will still be on your computer.

Watch Out!!
There are a lot of online pharmacies out there who dupe you into believing you're ordering some really cheap medication when in fact all you're buying is a subscription to a website that gives you access to their "private" list of online pharmacies. There are also a lot of websites that offer really cheap meds to lure you in and all they're really doing is looking for your name, address, phone and if they can get it, your private financial information. Again, if you think it looks too good to be true, it likely is. To see our list of websites to stay away from, click here.
There are some cases where pharmacies, especially those that you'll find from membership sites, as well as most of the foreign pharmacies that will supply you many different kinds of drugs without a prescription. If you reach a pharmacy where a prescription is NOT supplied for you, we do recommend you consult a physician before placing your order.
In addition, there are changes to the laws in the US for ordering online. If the prescription drug is a controlled substance and the drug is being imported into the U.S. from a foreign country and being shipped to anyone other than a DEA-registered importer, such transaction is a felony in violation of Sections 957 and 960 of Title 21, United States Code. It is a felony to import drugs into the United States and ship to a non-DEA registrant.
