I was searching the web recently and was struck by the number of online pharmacies that claim to be from the US that aren't. I don't have a problem with foreign pharmacies, per se, but I DO have a problem with deceptive tactics to make you think you're buying from a legitimate source when you're not.
I just received an email from someone who wanted to show me an email they got which went into detail about this very thing. The email said how their website was the solution. No need to buy from a foreign source, it said. They were a US Pharmacy you could trust.
So I did some simple research. I found the website, the one in the email that claimed to be the solution. Their website said they were from the USA, but their acual URL showed me their domain was Canadian. Now, their "registrar", the company who they paid to get the URL to begin with was in UK but their IP address was actually located in Russia!
So it was a Russian, (very likely part of a crime syndicate), who registered a Canadian domain at a UK registrar to make it look like they were a US Pharmacy. This problem is so widespread and so deceptive that it never crosses the mind of most people that they could be ordering from a bogus or "rogue" website. So here are 7 surefire ways to spot a fake foreign pharmacy that claims it's from the US.
Top 7 Ways To Spot A Fake Online Pharmacy
Tip 1: If the pharmacy website says they
ship to ALL 50 STATES and also tell you they
ship WORLDWIDE, they are
NOT a US Pharmacy.
Tip 2: If you look at their
shipping policy and it says they ship via
USPS / EMS, they are
NOT a US Pharmacy. All US Pharmacies will ship DHL, FedEx or UPS, not via the post office.
Tip 3: If you find a pharmacy that offers
90 counts of controlled meds like Phentermine, Xanax, Valium,
with or without an online questionaire, then they are
NOT a US Pharmacy. No US Pharmacy will ship controlled meds at this time without a valid prescription from your doctor. www.secureusrx.com is a great example. This guy is out of Panama and one of the biggest identity thieves out there.
Tip 4: If you look at the pharmacy website, especially in their
FAQ section and it says anything about
customs, or delivery of up to
30 days, or shipments taking
7-21 business days, they are
NOT a US Pharmacy.
Tip 5: If you
receive a phone call from someone offering you medications by phone, they are
NOT a US Pharmacy. You will never get a call from a legitmate pharmacy unless it is to verify information you have submitted or to alert you to a problem.
Tip 6: They require membership, but
you may not realize you're signing up for membership. Very often, they will list controlled medications, (especially narcotic pain medication like hydrocodone, Oxycontin, Morphine or Dilaudid as well as Phentermine, Xanax or Valium) on the page for almost nothing. You click the order link and think you're buying the drug but
what you are really buying is a monthly membership. They don't stop billing people without a fight either and it could take 3 to 6 months. So don't be a victim, be aware! Here's an example but
DO NOT buy anything here! I just want to give an example.
themedshop.com.
Tip 7: One of my favorites, getting extra or
bonus meds. When was the last time you saw a doctor who said, "I will write you a prescription for 30 pills of amoxicillin but, if you order 90 pills,
I'll have the pharmacist throw in 5 extra Viagra pills as a bonus"? That never, ever happens and will never happen. So when you see a pharmacy offer you "extra" bonus meds, it's not a bonus. It's a hook. It's a lure. And what do you do with a lure or hook? Don't fall for it!
So here is the question: Given those 7 secrets, and you find a website that fits and or all of the tips I just gave you,
what will you do? People will write and ask for my opinion of a website they've found and very often, I will point to 3 or 4 of these flags right off the bat. And yet,
because they want that Phenermine or Hydrocodone so, so badly, they ignore the warnings and order anyway. No, it never works out well for them either.
If you find a website that
lies to you on the front end like that, what makes you think they will not
lie to you about your order or
ship you fake medication or
steal your credit information & / or your
identity? Do you believe you can trust them with something
you are putting in your body? They do not care about you or your health. They only care only about
your money and getting it by any means possible.
